An Ode To Kendrick Lamar R&B

We’re coming up on two years since good kid m.A.A.d city and it seems like Kendrick Lamar has not left the spotlight. He’s been on the road for a bulk of his run prior to and after the release of his Interscope debut album and we’ve seen him featured on more tracks than ever before. Quiet as kept, a good portion of those were R&B songs.

It’s always interesting to hear K Dot on a softer note because of how different he comes off on those type of songs, compared to his Rap features. While on the Rap shit he’s trying to eat everyone on the track alive, for the R&B joints, he turns his flow into almost a whisper (in most instances) to match the slower tempo.

Today we explore some of his best guest appearances and look back at his run thus far. We’re sure more of these are on the way leading up to the new album.
