Will it give Spotify competition?

It’s been a long time coming for Apple’s streaming service since acquiring Beats by Dre in a multi-billion dollar deal in 2014. The company has been working on the relaunch ever since and the time for them to debut what they’ve had their sights on is finally near. Reports claim Apple will be unveiling Apple Music at next week’s Worldwide Developers Conference, offering unlimited on-demand streaming for $10 per month.

There have been talks that the likes of Drake, Pharrell and David Guetta might sign on as guest DJ’s for iTunes Radio and that a free tier will also be available for users. If listeners choose to go that route, they will be have to submit to ads and they won’t gain access to artists full catalog.

Stay tuned for more information and official word from Apple next week.
