RELATED: Former A$AP Member A$AP Relli is Cooperator in Alleged Los Angeles Shooting with A$AP Rocky
ASAP Rocky charged Hollywood shooting, as the Harlem rapper finds out what he’s facing according to the LAPD and their reports. Monday afternoon, Rocky was charged with two counts of assault with a semiautomatic firearm. The incident, which happened at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, is reportedly on film.
The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office didn’t make any mention of anyone being hit by the bullets. However, they did say they believed one of the bullets grazed the accuser’s left hand, revealed in police reports.
Now, A$AP Rocky scored a victory, because these are not attempted murder charges. Some were fearing that this situation could’ve been way worse, than how it’s being presented by the LAPD (what’s in them boxes?).
District Attorney George Gascón discussed the shooting saying, “Discharging a gun in a public place is a serious offense that could have ended with tragic consequences not only for the person targeted but also for innocent bystanders visiting Hollywood.”
Considering the hard-on many DA’s have rappers and the rise of racketeering cases, we’re hopeful the end result of this situation isn’t bad.
