That caption towards Jada Pinkett-Smith on Instagram is probably the most people have heard from August Alsina lately. The singer is bringing things back to the music with a new music video for “Wouldn’t Leave,” which shows him in the most vulnerable of times. With tears down his eyes, August gets honest and personal on the track and the clip shows him in the middle of nowhere in a deserted town, standing on top of rooftops and wandering among the dirt. It could probably signify how he’s felt recently, especially since the label has held up the release of his new effort and the fact he’s been battling personal demons and problems.
