This is the first time we hear of Bale. Without knowing his backstory (which he touches on, on “Greater”), we can hear the pain in his voice. Good thing he’s sharing some personal experiences on the track because it gives us more indication of what he’s been through to get him to this point of his life. As you can hear on here, he was laid up 29 days in the hospital after being shot 28 times on his birthday. He was in a coma, but luckily pulled through and has a new lease on life. At some point, we all strive for greatness and that’s basically what he’s trying to inspire on his new single.
His new album H.T.S.M (Hard. Times. Shaped. Me.) is executive produced by KRONDON and coming later this year. We’re sure he has plenty more stories to tell on the album if “Greater” is any indication. We’re looking forward to hearing them.
