During tonight’s Country Music Awards, the Dixie Chicks joined Beyoncé on stage to perform “Daddy Lessons.” The track is from Bey’s Lemonade album, and was covered by the group before, but it’s only right the two sides came together for it. The new version is a rare outing for the D.C. band, who haven’t released an album in a decade. Not only that, but it’s Bey’s first attempt at a country crossover record and could possibly be the next single off the album.
