Ooh wee! Blood Orange aka Dev Hynes has surprised everyone with his new album Freetown Sound three days before its scheduled release date. Released as a full package with no singles out prior, the project features 17 songs from the London-born, NYC-based musician. While there’s no other names on the tracklist, features do come from Nelly Furtado, Empress Of, Carly Rae Jepsen, Starchild, Debbie Harry and more, with quotes from the likes of Vince Staples and De La Soul.
Freetown Sound is the third Blood Orange album and follows up 2013’s Cupid Deluxe.
