Fans of Blu and Exile are in for a treat. To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of their debut album Below the Heavens, the duo are back with 14 tracks from the original 2007 sessions. The project, titled In the Beginning: Before the Heavens and due out October 20th, is made up of previously heard songs and unreleased gems, chosen from the best songs in the vault.
“We planted the seeds of creativity and grew about 40 plants,” Exile says. “We picked the ones that we thought were the best for an album, but that didn’t mean that the other flowers weren’t beautiful. I’m super happy to re-release [In The Beginning] to people and have it actually get some attention that it definitely deserves. It’s amazing.”
The first song “Constellations” is out today and available to stream above.
