GS9 home in 2017?
Last week, Bobby Shmurda revealed official plans to sue the NYPD over an alleged false arrest on gun and drug charges. However, that lawsuit is unrelated situation to the main Manhattan December 2014 arrest he’s currently been incarnated from, for nearly 16 months.
Today, reports surfaced that the Brooklyn-native will have to spend at least four months at the Westchester County Correction facility – at the request of his own attorney, Alex Spiro. Chewy and three of his other co-defendants are not looking to have any plea deals on conspiracy, gun and drug charges they all face; but will see credited time, if not found innocent.
Originally, Ackquille Pollard planned to finally have his trial begin in February and see a $2 million bail pushed through the courts, but was denied once again for a May 12th start.
While it’s possible that the 21-year-old incarcerated rapper could see a fifth postponing until 2017, we’ll keep you updated if anything transpires for this lengthy legal stand-off.
