Shmoney Shmurda looks to sue the NYPD

Yesterday, reports circulated around social media that Bobby Shmurda has been released from prison on his $2 million bail. However, after the GS9 camp remained quiet throughout the day, it was soon later revealed through numerous sources that the Brooklyn-based rapper was still locked up.

Now, Ackquille Pollard, is looking to sue the NYPD over an alleged false arrest on gun and drug charges. According to the suit filed Friday morning in Brooklyn Federal Court, it stated “when one of the occupants opened the door a slight bit to see who was there, Officer Douglas Corso and other police officers kicked in the door and illegally entered the residence without a search warrant.”

While this doesn’t tie into his infamous Quad Studios arrest of December 2014, the 21-year-old says that neither the gun, nor drug paraphernalia seized from the apartment were his. Bobby also claims that he’s suffered permanent “nervous shock and mental anguish” as a result of the arrest – so we’re sure he should have no problem in prevailing with this case. We’ll keep you updated if anything involving this case and his other two pick up any progression.
