Give Boogie a beat and he’ll spazz out, especially if it’s one that has enough swag on it for him to get the punchlines off. “Look Alive” was right in pocket for Westside Boog and he made sure he came with his best shit on that one. It was harder for him to catch the zone in the second beat, Suspect’s “One Way,” using the slow flow and then speeding up on it. Once Charlie Sloth threw him the classic grime, he couldn’t find the groove, considering he kept getting warned the beat was going to drop and it took forever to do so.
That second beat was fire, though.
