Though his World Wide Funk album may have gone under the radar, Bootsy Collins‘ collaboration with Kali Uchis on “After the Storm” certainly did not. The collaboration was certainly random and not expected, but it’s been one of our most played tracks over the past month or so. A month after sharing the aforementioned video, the two return with the visual for “Worth My While,” which takes a trip into psychedelia throughout. In the clip, Kali can be seen singing and fading in and out of color schemes as Bootsy comes through with the OG outfits and signature guitar.
As much as it’s dripping in old school, it still has a hint of new school for the young bulls watching.
