Brockhampton are keeping the music coming with a video for their new song “1997 Diana.”
The visual is another crazy piece directed by Kevin Abstract, which takes place in a high school gymnasium. “I think I got like five more albums inside my mind,” Kevin raps. “This that shit, that do or die, make your grandmama cry.” The title is likely a reference to the death of Princess Diana in August 1997.
It continues the ’90s theme titles for Brockhampton’s recent tracks, taken from their upcoming album The Best Years of Our Lives.
