Bryson Tiller’s ‘True to Self’ First Week Sales Revealed

Congrats Young Tiller!

Last week, Bryson Tiller rolled out his True to Self album, a month earlier than its original date. The mid-west singer-songwriter scored his first ever no. 1 album on Billboard 200, as the project garnered 107,000 equivalent album units. According to Nielsen Music, he notched 47,000 traditional album sales for the early effort, which was up from his 2015 debut album, T R A P S O U L.

The previous affair peaked at no. 8 on the charts, and went platinum last holiday at 1.6 million equivalent album units (441,000 in traditional units). With a pending Set It Off Tour set to begin in two months, Pen Griffey has time to generate more attention to his gem with more music visuals.
