Killa salutes Jay-Z
Contrary to popular belief, the Diplomats have always had a fondness for the original street hustling rhymes of Jay-Z during his early run. In the latest of Thisis50’s new favorite verse in hip-hop series, Cam’ron was next up to share why rhyme he felt was the best – not including his collection of gems from over the years. Surprisingly, he immediately went to name Jigga’s 1995 classic “In My Lifetime,” that stuck out to him the most. In the track, Shawn raps “If Imma risk a frisk, getting my wrists wrapped up in steel. I’m out here trying to make a mill, my shit is real for real.”
