Free The 🅱️rims
Before we say anything, the 5-9 Brims Blood set had been under investigation since a 2015 murder. Coincidentally, the same year, Shotti and the rest of Tr3ywy were on the government’s eye, for conspiracy to distribute controlled substances (a mandatory 10-year sentence).
Remember last fall, when 6ix9ine got on stand and was forced to testify about people being Nine-Tr3yway and New York Brims – in exchange for his freedom, of course? Well, Tuesday morning, the United States Federal Government signed off an official sweep, to roundup members of the 5-9 Brims of New York.
In the sweep, Star Brim, was one of 18 defendants named in the indictment; and is being accused of being the highest-ranking female member. However, due to a pregnancy, Star won’t be arrested until after she gives birth. The government’s story, is that they arrested Star, due to the NYC strip club brawl, that took place in 2018.
6ix9ine’s girlfriend, Jade, and her sister, were allegedly beat up in a club by members of the 5-9 Brims. This led to Cardi B being subpoenaed in 2019, where the FEDs wanted her to snitch on her camp. However, Cardi stood tall and rejected a plea deal by the government, which would’ve erased her name from this entire investigation (she’s due back in court later this year for the situation).
At the time, Nicki Minaj allegedly helped Jade and her sister with legal fees, as the two were going to sue Cardi B and affiliates. Months after, 6ix9ine took the stand and pointed fingers at Cardi B for being a member of the 5-9 Brims; giving the FEDs leeway to continue their illegal investigation.
It got to the point, where Star knew something was going to happen, when her back-to-school giveaway was shut down last August in Brooklyn. Luckily for Cardi, she has powerful people backing her in avoiding a R.I.C.O. case at the moment, as she’ll face her 6ix9ine moment in the coming months (be presented with a deal from the government).
The allegations that are being leveled against Star Brim, is that Jade and her sister were attacked. Through documents revealed in the case, the government is alleging that a Bronx rapper paid for a second attack against Jade; as the first attack wasn’t good enough for their liking.
This could sadly put Star Brim’s best friend in the official 5-9 Brim racketeering charges.
The 30-year charges against Star Brim are ridiculous to say the least, as neither Jade or her sister had harmful injuries. However, offering to pay for everything to go down, gave the FEDs enough conspiracy to label her as the godmother of the camp; as well as a top ranking official.
Unlike the 6ix9ine and Tr3yway case, which didn’t have one single murder, the 5-9 situation has multiple murders listed in the indictment. Most of those members from Tr3yway should be home within the next few years, as they avoided serious charges when Tekashi went public with them.
Like previously mentioned, 6ix9ine took stand last fall and pointed fingers at Card B. Well, in that same hearing, he was asked to mention 50 Cent and refused to point out his former friend. This is possibly the biggest key-point form this situation, as the NYPD had an alleged on-sight murder plot against Kanan.
With Tekashi not mentioning 50 Cent, this puts most of distant associates in a safe zone for the time being, who they really wanted. We don’t expect Kanan to speak on that situation ever, but 6ix9ine will likely break silence on jeopardizing his freedom at court to protect Fifty in a few months when he’s released.
