Coinciding with The Neptunes reuniting with Pusha T for a 20-day studio session this month, Chad Hugo decided to sit down and discuss how a hobby turned to his daily working routine. The Virginia native spoke on finding love in making beats in a similar way to kids riding skateboards and watching TV. Creating sounds gave him the opportunity to forget about drama and school, guided by exploring musical machines and the reaction from peers. “It was something to do,” in the words of Chad himself.
