Childish Gambino drops a freestyle for Rosenberg on Hot 97
After conducting nearly an hour long-interview, Paul Rosenberg managed to get Childish Gambino to spit a freestyle before he left the Hot 97 offices. Rosenberg looked through the archives and found an instrumental for the Atlanta-rapper to properly go in over. HS87’s popular beat for “Grindin’ My Whole Life” was soon throw into the mix, which prompted Gambino to spit for nearly four minutes, even once again teasing the collaborative EP with Chance the Rapper.
