We’ve been waiting for this to happen. Chuck Inglish recently linked up with Mass Appeal for a new episode of ‘Rhythm Roulette.’
Chuck, along with the other half of The Cool Kids, Sir Michael Rocks, beside him, hit up Good Records in NYC and picked out three random records with a blindfold on. The producer ended up coming away with Roy Ayers’ Ubiquity, Tuff City Squad’s Beats for Jeeps and Traffic’s Last Exit. Some sampled loops and added keys later, he manager to put together a knocking beat.
“This was the find,” he says about Tuff City Squad, who he hadn’t heard of before. “This is the spirit of why ‘Rhythm Roulette’ is so cool to me… To pick this out blindfolded is crazy.
