A lot has come Cozz‘s way since breaking into the rap world with his debut single “Dreams,” that eventually led to signing to J. Cole’s Dreamville Records. Within the last year, the Los Angeles rapper spent time promoting his late 2014-released debut album Cozz & Effect with a few videos, as well as joining Cole and the rest of the Dreamville team on the 2014 Forest Hills Drive Tour.
Starting 2016 off on the a high note, Cozz is back today with his new mixtape Nothin Personal. The 13-track project has features from Boogie, Correy C, Deborah, Bas and Free Ackrite, with production solely handled by Meez and additional credits from Mike Almighty, T. Lew and D2. The mixtape follows the Dreamville compilation Revenge of the Dreamers II and his two promo singles “My Side” and “Who Said.”
