Death Row Records Has Now Being Acquired by A Toy Company

When Death Row Records first started, we’d never thought the company would ever be owned by anyone than someone from the streets. Unfortunately, that’s not how things have gone for the legendary label that boasted names like Dr. Dre, 2pac, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Nate Dogg and more.

Toy company Hasbro, who has come out with games and toys like Monopoly, NERF, My Little Pony, and Play-Doh, now owns Death Row Records as an addition to their extensive portfolio. This came about thanks to Entertainment One being acquired by the company for $4 billion dollars.

eONE owns franchises like Peppa Pig, PJ Masks and was probably the main reason they acquired the company. Little did they know, they also acquired the most gangsta catalog in music history with the purchase.

Though we have no idea what will come of Death Row Records because of this, it’s still interesting to see what has happened to the label throughout the years.
