Forgive us for the delay, but Defari is finally back with new music. The Santa Monica rapper has been out of the game for a minute and hasn’t released a project since 2006’s Street Music; this year, he’s making a return with a new album called Soundcheck. The first single “West Up!!!!” is out now, and Defari’s raps are sounding sharper than they’ve ever been. The song was produced by Evidence, who has also produced the entirety of the new album.
Evidence has produced the majority of Defari’s three albums, so it would be wrong to stop now.
