Three weeks ago, Deniro Farrar wrapped up the promotion for 2014 debut EP by releasing the final visual from the project. With a new mixtape in the works and on the way, the North Carolina native returns to drop off the first single to arrive from it. On “World On My Shoulders,” Farrar has a few things to get off his chest as he showcases his knack for storytelling, expressing his frustrations with all the misfortunes one faces in everyday lives.
In his case, dealing with family issues and taking care of is two sons, trying to prepare them for the dangers of the world we live in. Produced by Sad Boys’ Yung Gud, “World On My Shoulders” is the first single taken from Deniro’s upcoming COD2 mixtape, a follow-up to 2012’s Cliff of Death with Blue Sky Black Death, and is due May 15th.
