AK talks with OVO 40
A few days ago, DJ Akademiks was on his Twitch Live account with Lil Yachty as the two played a game of NBA 2K18. In comparison to normal chats with his community, the Everyday Struggle member shared some rare gems from a phone call this month with Noah ‘40’ Shebib.
The topic stemmed from Ak and Yachty discussing a mutual friend and associate of the OVO Sound family. The New Jersey native soon dived into his 40-minute conversation he had with The Boy’s lifetime right-hand guy. Topics revealed were the origins of Drake and The Weeknd’s rift, which has temporarily caused the two brothers to not work with each other at the moment.
Like every other problem the 6-God has had with a few rappers, 40 confirmed with AK that their issues did indeed stem from a woman they both knew. He also touched on having to turn down working with JAY-Z, as well as many other rap A-listers – out of loyalty to Drizzy.
