Most may know DJ Envy as one of the hosts of POWER 105’s Ths Breakfast Club, but he also does other things aside from the radio thing. He DJ’s at clubs around the tri-state and before all of that, he was putting together mixtapes and albums. It looks like he’s back to that because in early 2018, he will be releasing Just A Kid From Queens and his first single from the project is the Fetty Wap assisted “Text Me Your Number.” As you can hear, the record is very much catered to the radio and mainstream crowd and he credits his kids for the opinions on the music he’s going to release. Apparently he leans on them as the ears to the streets.
