Early last week, DJ Mustard and his rap partner in crime YG had a little rift in their longtime friendship that was publicized on each others Instagram pages. It only took the duo a day or two to squash their beef and continue getting money. During his recent sit-down with MTV News, DJ Mustard explained how the beef between the two was blown way outta proportion and that his words were not for YG, but in fact for Def Jam Recordings instead. He further explained that it helped make their friendship stronger and that they were able to cut the snakes out of the grass. In the end, the West Coast hitmaker did get his money, but would rather receive it from the label much faster in the future to avoid further issues like these.
