The reason for why they made the N.W.A. biopic
It’s not often Dr. Dre does radio interviews, but usually if they happen, it’s on Big Boy’s Neighborhood. With the N.W.A. biopic Straight Outta Compton creeping up on the release, the good doctor talked to Big Boy about the making of the movie and what he wants people to take away from it after watching. He was very hands on throughout the process, especially considering he didn’t even want to make it to begin with because he thought it would taint the legacy.
Ultimately, the film will show much of the brotherhood Dre had with MC Ren, Eazy E, Ice Cube and DJ Yella, as well as the betrayal, trials and tribulations and everything else a crew goes through during their road to the top and after reaching success.
