Drake Breaks Record for Most Weeks at No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 in a Year

How many records will this man break? It seems like all of them, because now Drake has toppled a record for most weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in a year span. The record dates back to 2004, when Usher was at the top of the charts.

At the time, Usher spent 28 weeks at No. 1 when Confessions was out.

With “In My Feelings” staying at the top of the charts for its 10th consecutive week, this gives Drizzy his 29th week on the top in 2018, thanks to Scorpion singles like “Nice For What” and “God’s Plan.” Essentially, this whole year he has spent replacing himself on Billboard.

Not only does he break this record, but he becomes the first solo artist to have three songs on the Hot 100 at No. 1 for at least 10 weeks. The last to do so was Boyz II Men back in the golden era of ’90s R&B.

Is there any more records for Drake to break?
