Drake’s Album Will Arrive At The End of April
Drake, along with OVO Firm cohort Oliver, are live on OVO Sound Radio this weekend and to kick off the 19th episode. Drizzy took “five minutes from recording” (yeah, he’s still recording) to join his manager and officially announce the release date for his highly-anticipated album, Views From The 6. There have been tons of conspiracies and rumors on when it will release, but Drake answered the question right off the bat and revealed that his new album will in fact be released on April 29th, more than likely an iTunes exclusive as his previous two projects have been.
The anticipation for Drake’s long-awaited album is being fueled by the recently released singles “Pop Style” with The Throne (JAY Z & Kanye West), “Once Dance” featuring Wizkid and Kyla, as well as the two month old single “Summer Sixteen.” Following the confirmation of the album’s release date, Drizzy went on to say he had something special planned, but the focus at the moment was the OVO Firm mix for the evening. We can only assume that another new single will be arriving in the weeks to come, but nothing is certain just yet.
Stay tuned for more news on Drake’s Views From The 6.
