Frank Leone only released his instrumental album Mansion of Fang in November, but he’s back to the vocals on his latest track titled “Hometown Heroes.” Leone is determined to have his voice heard, along with Chicago rapper Femdot, who jumps in with a raspy verse of his own.
On it, Frank is capturing his thoughts and feelings of the times we’re living in, over a beat that samples The Four Mints. “‘Hometown Heroes’ is a left-brain reaction to our country’s new public face, from a white rural and black Islamic Chicago perspective,” he says about the release.
