Future Explains Why He Doesn’t Need a GRAMMY

Fuck a Grammy

After making history with becoming the first artist ever to have consecutive back-to-back no. 1 albums in two weeks, Future is featured in this month’s issue of Billboard Magazine.

In the candid conversation, the Atlanta rapper touched on having to change his personal lifestyle, and adjusting to new environments in Hollywood with former fiancé, Ciara.

After breaking away from that situation, he put focus back on his career, returning to Georgia with DJ Esco for his FUTURE and HNDRXX albums. Shifting from his personal life, Mr. Hendrix didn’t seem disgruntled when it was brought up that he never having a solo GRAMMY nomination.

Regarding his stance on The Recording Academy, Super went to say, “The Grammys, they get what they get — the shit that they don’t, it’s the shit that they maybe don’t want to understand. They’re not going to keep me from doing what I’m supposed to do as an artist.”

Judging by their handling of numerous categories, we’re assuming Future isn’t wasting time on receiving praise from insiders and only wants recognition from the public.
