Two months ago, G-Eazy debuted his new vlog series “The Rise.” The Bay Area rapper has finally returned with the release of the second episode. Just a few weeks after premiering two new tracks, Young Gerald is live from El Paso, Texas where he’s surprised by friends for a birthday get together. Following the festivities, he heads to Los Angeles to tear down the Powerhouse stage, before heading to Sacramento with next to no sleep at all to perform.
He later heads to the studio to continue recording for his next studio album, mixed with backstage and various other shots of G living life on the road and performing show to show. The footage also catches the Oakland rapper performing at Bonaroo and making his grand return to the Bay, performing live from the NBA Champion Warriors home area, The Oracle Area for KMEL’s Summer Jam.
