If you’re a fan of R&B, one of the names you should already have on your radar, as far as up future superstars is Gallant. His Ology album was one of the best of 2016 and he’s only looking to top that for his next effort. Not to mention the fact that he was nominated for a GRAMMY in the Best Urban Contemporary Album.
In conjunction with Billboard, a new documentary titled A Legend In The Making has surfaced where some music industry heavyweight speak on the talented artist.
Adrian Younge, Michael B. Jordan, Quincy Jones, Seal, and Zane Lowe all talk about how incredible of an artist he is and what first attracted them to his sound. Gallant also speaks on how he almost didn’t make it, when he went from New York to Los Angeles. By the time “Weight In Gold” premiered on Beats 1, his career was already skyrocketing.
