RELATED: The Music Industry is Claiming The Game’s ‘Drillmatic’ is Better than ‘The Documentary’
Game responds Wack 100 Jay-Z Super Bowl beef claims, which were never the case last weekend at the big game in Inglewood. Over the weekend, Wack 100 was on Clubhouse and said that The Game was banned from performing at the Super Bowl. Without realizing it, that was never the case, as The Game and Jay-Z have been on positive terms in recent months.
To the point where The Game has gotten clearance for multiple things behind the scenes with Jiggaman’s approval for his upcoming Drillmatic album. Their issues all ended when Pharrell Williams had a conversation with The Game about going out of his way to always send diss tracks in the way of Jay-Z.
Pharrell cited that Hov wanted to relay a message that he respected The Game and felt that the diss tracks were unnecessary. While Game had a right to speak his mind, with certain things happening to his career at the time, Dr. Dre and Jay-Z have both advanced to the next level in the mogul world to open doors for people directly behind them.
So, you’ll probably never see The Game ever dissing Jay-Z on a track. They’ve been on respectable terms for years, which will likely stay that for the foreseeable future.
Working with the inner-circle of Jay-Z for his upcoming Drillmatic album, The Game has everyone in the music industry paying attention to his project that will drop after DONDA 2 and Pusha T’s INDY project.
