Georgia Anne Muldrow is fresh off releasing her Overload project last year, which was named by many as one of the best albums of 2018.
The Los Angeles singer recently stopped by NPR Music’s ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ for a spirited performance of three songs. Muldrow performed “Overload” and “Ciao” off the latest album, along with a duet of “Flowers” with her husband, Dudley Perkins aka Declaime. “I wanna bring somebody special to me,” she said. “My life partner, my muse, my purpose, my protector, my sweet love and the father of my children.”
“Flowers,” produced by Madlib, appears on Perkins’ 2003 album A Lil’ Light on Stones Throw Records.
