This guy can spit. A co-sign from Nas will tell you that much. Dave East is New York rap in 2016, but he sounds like he could have been in the 90’s with the pure skills that he has on the mic. He’s even done a few a tracks with Alchemist that are nothing short of great. His #EastMix’s are hard as well too going over the likes of tracks from Amerie, O.T. Genasis, and even Erykah Badu. We don’t even have to discuss his Hate Me Now project, which was as hard as nails. On the song “Forbes List” he raps alongside Nas and does just more than hold his own with the Queensbridge legend. He’s got a lot of heat if you’re wondering, definitely worth checking out.
