If we’re being frank G Herbo should have been on this list, but better late than never right? He emerged on the scene way back in 2012 alongside 2015 Freshman Lil’ Bibby on the track “Kill Shit,” and he’s been getting bigger and better ever since. To this day “Kill Shit” is one of his best lyrical displays to date, but in the years he’s shown more depth. His last release Ballin’ Like I’m Kobe, was his deepest work to date with him mixing his assortment of flows, tales of Chicago violence, and overall lyrics to come full circle. He just signed with Cinematic Music group so be on the lookout for the Chicago native to keep making noise.
