Happy 40th Birthday Mr. Giles
It was two years ago today that we were paying homage to Harlem legend Cam’ron through another Happy Birthday playlist. This year is a little different. Why? That’s because King Joffe Joe is celebrating his 40th birthday this year. What better way to celebrate it with him through yet another play full of classics and gems in one playlist?
You might see a few duplicates from the original, and while it might have been hard, we tried our best to weed out those and squeeze in a few gems and rare tracks. Unfortunately not all the mixtapes and albums that Killa Cam appeared on aren’t featured on Spotify, but we still have what we think a solid playlist loaded with past and present classics from the Harlem great.
As you know, Cam’ron is preparing to release his fade to black album Purple Haze 2 later this year, so we soak up these gems to appreciate Cam’ron throughout the years he’s been in the game.
