Next Thursday March 7th, Hot 97 will hold their next “Who’s Next Live” featuring Troy Ave along with special guest Meyhem Lauren, Leikeli47 and YFame. Since the release of his critically acclaimed and independently “Bricks In My Backpack” series, the Crown Heights Brooklyn rapper is rapidly gaining notoriety for hard-hitting lyrics reminiscent of old-school New York street rap combined with his own blend of distinctive flows, melodic hooks, and charismatic adlibs.
With the release of the BSB mixtpae set for this Friday, Troy is readying his next upcoming project “New York City” which we can expect in the coming months. Recent SOB’s performers have included Trinidad Jame$, Kids These Days, J. Cole and Pro Era as you should already know what to expect when he hits the legendary stage in the city.
