Back in season one when Joffrey hadn’t quite yet assessed the throne, his arrogance and fear to back down when confronted by others with more power is shown during the scene with the butcher’s boy. Obviously, Aryah and Mycah were just playing around wanna-be knights, but it all turned brutal when the direwolf came to the rescue after Joff’s threats. Of course, it didn’t end well for the butcher’s boy.
