Iggy Azalea hasn’t been in the music spotlight since her appearance alongside Britney Spears for their “Pretty Girls” collaboration. The Australian rapper has been spending plenty of time in the studio working on her Digital Distortion album. Which should excuse her absence.
Without much warning, Iggy looks to be ready to get the campaign started for her sophomore studio effort this weekend by releasing her new promotional/buzz single “Azillion,” one of the few songs she previewed just last month. Azalea connected with Los Angeles-based production team, D.R.U.G.S. to handle the production for the energetic track.
This month will be filled with other content from Iggy, as she’s stated that she plans to release more treats for her fans leading up the release of her lead single “Team,” also produced by D.R.U.G.S., soon.
Digital Distortion is due out later this year via Def Jam and Virgin EMI.
