Illa J‘s upcoming album is looking like a must-have for all hip-hop fans. The Detroit rapper kicked off the campaign last month with the aptly titled “Sam Cook,” and today, he’s back with a second track from the project. “Home” continues the hip-hop, Motown sound from the last release, with Los Angeles producer Calvin Valentine lacing some incredible production for Illa to sing on. That’s right — Illa J is more than just a rapper.
The album, Home, will be available June 30th via Jakarta Records.
