Things are really heating up for Robert Glasper ahead of his new album Everything’s Beautiful, dropping May 27th. After gifting “Maiysha (So Long” with Erykah Badu just yesterday, he’s back with another track from the upcoming Miles Davis interpretations LP. This time, he’s letting loose “They Can’t Hold Me Down,” a track featuring Detroit’s own Illa J. The song was premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats 1, where Glasper explains the beat reminded him of J Dilla, so it was only right to get him brother to rap on it.
