Aside from his “Call Me Badly” track and guest appearances on tracks with Hoodrich Pablo and Key!, we haven’t heard much from Atlanta rapper ILOVEMAKONNEN since he released Red Trap Dragon last year. To make up for his rather lengthy absence, Makonnen returns today with a trio of new songs. He drops off “Trap Go Boom Boom (Freestyle)” and it’s produced by frequent collaborator Danny Wolf. The other two tracks are “Is You Plugged” and “Since 17.”
They’re not the Drink More Water Makonnen that we love listening to, but he sticks to his sound on the three tracks that will hold fans over until he shares details about an official project.
