Irv Gotti Reveals Original Murder Inc. Plan for 50 Cent Music Beef

Do you think Irv would’ve really had success as a rapper?

After revealing some details regarding how Jay-Z and Dame Dash didn’t believe in DMX during the late 90s, then using their same formula a few months later, Irv Gotti was featured in the latest edition of his Jewels interview series with Complex Magazine. The Queens mogul went to share a rare story on his original plan to transition to becoming an artist, as he planned to use the Puffy and Big Poppa route – working as Ja Rule’s artist in 2003. However, Ja insisted that it was a bad idea at the time, but Irv believes he could’ve saved the Murder Inc. empire during the heated music war with 50 Cent, Eminem and G-Unit. Watch more from the interview above about the what if.
