Platinum plaques up next.

J. Cole is adding another plaque to his wall of accomplishments. After celebrating his fourth No. 1 album with 4 Your Eyez Only, Cole World is celebrating another accolade for his feature-less project. J. Cole’s month old LP has officially been certified gold by the RIAA after moving 500k units. The December released album stands alone as “the only 2016 4th quarter hip-hop album release to earn RIAA certification.”

J. Cole is most likely on the verge of landing his second album to go platinum with absolutely no features. Which would accomplish the same feat that Cole’s previous album 2014 Forest Hills Drive did, which ultimately went on to be double platinum. The next single off 4 Your Eyez Only is reported to be “Deja Vu,” that caused a stir as it uses the same beat as Bryson Tiller’s hit “Exchange.”
