In episode two of Jasmine V‘s That’s Me Right There series, the clip opens up with Jasmine explaining what her initial reaction was when she first heard Kendrick Lamar‘s surprise verse on her upcoming EP’s title track and lead single. The footage of her reaction is somewhat reminiscent to K dot first hearing JAY Z jumping on his Bitch, Don’t Kill My Vibe single, but instead of being in the studio, Jasmine and her girls were rehearsing dance moves. Following the big surprise, Jasmine and her team held dance auditions for a group of back-up dancers to appear along with her during her House of Blues performance.
