Album coming June 30th!
Two weeks ago, JAY Z and TIDAL mysteriously started a campaign with 4:44 billboards across NYC. An official debut trailer for the project was teased, which led many to believe that S. Dot was planning an exclusive film presentation. Well, tonight, he and his new partners at Sprint Wireless confirmed that the title was indeed the name of his new album, and will be releasing this June 30th.
The effort is set to serve as a follow-up to his 2013 LP, Magna Carta Holy Grail, as a new single was teased as well. In the cryptic teaser starring Mahershala Ali and Danny Glover, we get a glimpse into his new single, “Adnis,” – which is in tribute to his late father, Adnis Reeves.
Much like his last album, Jigga will continue the trend of #NewRules, making the project an exclusive on his TIDAL platform, as well as making it free to Sprint customers.
Take a look at the trailer and details on how to get Tidal for 6 months.
