Jay Z Set To Spend Big
After the launch of Beats Music last year, it looks like Dr. Dre won’t be the only rapper to own a music streaming service for much longer. Jay Z has reportedly bidded 464 million Krona aka $56 million for Aspiro, a Swedish company that runs music streaming services WiMP and TIDAL. WiMP is currently available in Denmark, Germany, Norway, Poland and Sweden, while TIDAL is available in the US and UK, boasting better sound quality than other leading competitors. The deal is all but done, subject to a shareholder agreement.
