Jean Grae and Quelle Chris are sharing a video for their new single “Gold Purple Orange,” taken from their upcoming joint album (due March 30th).
The visual might be goofy with the couple hanging around good friends, but there’s a deeper message behind the lyrics. “I shot it in our living room, and now we own entirely too many 1980s backdrops for photo shoots,” Grae says. “It’s not being afraid to be yourself, for a long period of time. Even if that seems uncomfortable.”
